I'm a veteran of Disney trips with my family, but when it comes to Food and Wine with just my wife I'm a rookie. Are there any packages or special experiences you would recommend? I'm going to be there Sept 13th through the 16th. Thanks!

    Greetings, Robert!

It just so happens my wedding anniversary falls in September and my husband and I have had the pleasure of celebrating many of our years together at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Not only is it an enchanting location, but fall is such a wonderful time to visit. The parks are beautiful, the weather tends to be just a bit cooler and sometimes the crowds are even a little lighter.

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is filled with amazing experiences you and your wife will adore. Don't worry about being a rookie at planning, there will be a schedule of events and experiences released prior to the start the festival--usually sometime in July or August. Several years ago, we attended the Party for the Senses. It was an evening filled with incredible food and beverage tastings as well as magical entertainment. Another great experience is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Favorite bands from all genres grace the stage in the America Gardens Theatre nightly throughout the festival. My favorite way to enjoy these concerts is to schedule an Eat to the Beat Concert Series Dining Package. There will also be culinary demonstrations, seminars and more, so keep checking back and keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for when more details are announced.

Be sure to also check out Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park at night. It's such a different park once the sun sets and if you haven't seen Pandora - The World of Avatar you'll be in for a real treat. Also, the all-new Toy Story Land will have recently opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Wow, you've really picked a great time to visit!

Please let us know if you have any other questions, Robert, and have a magical vacation.

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
