Hi Angeline! We love Disney's Vero Beach resort and the relaxed and casual elegance of Florida's picturesque Atlantic Treasure Coast. It's true bliss!
My children love the sea turtles too. 3 species of endangered sea turtles loggerheads, greens and leatherbacks can be found nesting in sand dunes along Disney’s Vero Beach. We've been able to experience the early morning guided
Turtle Tour and it was magical. Arrangements to participate in the specially guided tour can be made at the concierge desk.
While the official sea turtle nesting season goes from May to October, turtle walks only take place in June and July at Disney's Vero Beach resort with the conservatory team.
The sand dunes are the perfect nesting spot for sea turtles and other sea animals so you son will can still get an up close look just by walking along the beach. Just remember, it's against the law to touch or disturb nesting sea turtles, hatchlings, or their nests, as they are considered endangered species.
Sending Pixie-Dust your way for fun in the sun and a magical vacation.
