Since you’re already connected through the
Family & Friends list in the My Disney Experience app, the next step is to make sure the right permission is set. The person who manages the plans for each person in your group will need to give you permission to make plans on their behalf. They can do this by going to their Family & Friends list, selecting your name and making sure the option that allows you to make plans together is turned on. Once that’s set, you’ll be able to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Passes and book experiences for everyone you’re connected to.
When using
Lightning Lane Passes, each guest must purchase it for themselves through their My Disney Experience account. As long as everyone in your group has purchased Lightning Lane Passes for the same day and is linked through the Friends & Family list, reservations can be made either together by one person or individually.
By linking through the Friends & Family list, one person can oversee and coordinate reservations for the group. This is especially helpful for families or groups who prefer one person to take the lead in planning. If different members of the group want to experience different attractions, the app allows for flexibility. Each individual can choose and manage their own reservations, and you’ll still see the plans for those who are linked. For high demand attractions, it’s often best for one person to make the reservations for the group to ensure everyone gets the same return time.
