I'm an USAF retired veteran. I'm looking to take my family and grandkids to Disneyworld. It will be myself, my wife and daughter and her husband and their five kids. Ages 4 7 8 9 11. The price that it will be for the 5 day theme parks.

    Welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for your incredible service to our great nation in the United States Air Force. Military families have earned special offers at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I’m honored to share the details with you. Taking your whole family to the Most Magical Place on Earth will be a wonderful vacation together – memories made in the theme parks will be treasured for a lifetime.

Your retired status makes you eligible for Disney Military Salute theme park tickets, which can be purchased at a U.S. Military Base or through Shades of Green (an Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC) located on Walt Disney World Resort property) online. The current 2024 price for a 5-day Park Hopper ticket (ages 3+) is $389.00 and the 5-day theme park ticket with Park Hopper Plus (ages 3+) is $419.00. You’ll find these 2024 detailed prices and full details of the policies on Walt Disney World's Disney Military Salute page.

Please note that this exclusive offer to active and retired members allows you to purchase up to six tickets per calendar year, and you must personally use one of those tickets. As you require nine tickets for your family, you can purchase the additional three tickets through Shades of Green as “Magic Your Way” tickets at a military affiliation discount with wider eligibility. These tickets are priced separately for children (age 3-9) and adults (10+). Those prices are on the Shades of Green website. This policy and other details are shared in the helpful Frequently Asked Ticket Questions.

    • Six Disney Military Salute 5-Day Park Hopper (age 3+) theme park tickets is currently $2,334
    • Three child (age 3-9) Magic Your Way Park Hopper 5-Day theme park tickets is currently $1,704
    • For an estimated total of $4,038 (plus tax where required) for your family's nine theme park tickets at these special military offers. (Subject to change)

Many military bases offer both types of tickets, so you may be able to purchase everything in one transaction in person. If not, you may call or complete the online form through Shades of Green and receive your tickets in the mail. Please note that the six Disney Military Salute tickets must be activated in person at Walt Disney World prior to entering a theme park (simply show your valid U.S. military identification at Guest Relations), whereas the Magic Your Way tickets will arrive activated.

Please also look at Shades of Green for a potential resort stay; they have great rates for larger family style suites. There are also ongoing special offers on Disney Resorts Collection hotels for military families.

I hope this estimate is helpful in understanding how to purchase your family's tickets through special military offers. Thank you again for your service and for trusting planDisney with this important guidance. Please let us know what other planning questions you have.

    With gratitude,
