Hi Gemma and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The answer to your question really depends on how you booked your holiday. Did you book a holiday package with the
Walt Disney Travel Company here in the UK or a Travel Agent? etc.
My family tend to book our flights independently and our Disney Resort hotel/Park Tickets/Disney Dining Plan directly with the Walt Disney World Travel Company.
We book our flights ourselves online and as such receive a confirmation of our booking via email. We can then log into our booking to enter all required pre-flight information as well as to complete online check-in and select our seats on the plane.
We normally receive an envelope from the Walt Disney World Travel Company a couple of weeks prior to our visit which includes hotel and ticket vouchers as well as a small A-Z Holiday Guide and vouchers to redeem package benefits in the Resort. Our ticket and dining entitlements are linked to our MagicBands which are received upon check-in at our Disney Resort hotel.
I should think that no matter how you booked your holiday, you will receive some sort of correspondence (either by email or post) prior to your trip.
If you are unsure of anything at all, I would recommend that you contact the Company who you booked your flights/Disney Resort hotel with, to seek clarification.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
