I’m in U.K. how do I get a chat with a CM for DAS ? Everytime I click on a link, it just takes me to the main page again where there’s no mention of it. Also how does it work with those rides that are only lightning lane rides ?

    Hello Nicola,

As the current UK Panelist here at planDisney, it's truly my pleasure and delight to welcome you back once again.  We're so very happy that you've taken the time to stop by with such great questions for us to help you with.

As the parent to now a grown-up child with a hidden disability, I know only too well from my own personal experience how beneficial the Disability Access Service (DAS) can be to help families just like yours and mine, to enjoy a jolly Walt Disney World Resort holiday - together.

Nicola, it's only been a very recent addition for Guests to gain the ability to pre-register for the Disability Access Service (DAS) via video chat.  However, at this time, Guests from the United Kingdom are not yet able to take advantage of this pre-registration for DAS via video chat.  This, of course, explains why you experienced webpage redirection when accessing the Walt Disney Travel Company website.

It goes without saying that I fully understand that this was not the news you were hoping to hear.  However, I do have some good news to share with you concerning the Disability Access Service (DAS).  I'm happy to share that Guests are still able to register for the Disability Access Service (DAS) upon arrival into any Disney Theme Park by stopping by Guest Relations

Plus, I'm pleased to say that any DAS which Cast Members may issue will be good for your entire length of stay (up to 60-days) at Walt Disney World Resort.

I simply can't wait to use the new Disney Genie Service on my next visit to Walt Disney World Resort!  Nicola, you'll be pleased to learn that Guests using the Disability Access Service (DAS) can indeed combine their use of DAS with the Disney Genie+ service, and Individual Lightning Lane selections.

I hope that I've been able to provide a little magical insight into your April 2022 plans to visit the most magical place on earth.  If you should have any further enquiries, then please do drop back to see me here at planDisney.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
