Hi Victoria! Welcome back to planDisney! It looks like you have a big year ahead, with a visit to
Disneyland Paris during the Christmas season and a trip to
Walt Disney World, too. I am happy to say that my year is looking just the same. If you are anything like me, you just cannot get enough of the magic!
When booking a
Hotel + Ticket Package, you have the benefit of making dining reservations at the time of booking, or when bookings become available if you are booking more than a year in advance. Dining reservations can be made really easily in the
Disneyland Paris app, where you will see ‘Book a table’ right on the homepage. If you have not downloaded the app yet, I highly recommend doing so, as it will also have the full entertainment schedule as you get closer to your trip.
As the entertainment schedule has not yet been released, I cannot give exact timings, but I can share how I would plan. In my experience, the Christmas tree lighting usually takes place as darkness falls in Paris, which is typically just before 5 pm towards the end of November. With this in mind, I would expect the tree lighting to be around 5 pm. I would then look to make a dining reservation for around 6 pm. As the tree lighting takes place at the front of Disneyland Park, you would easily be able to head to a 6 pm reservation at one of the brilliant buffet restaurants in the Disney Hotels. I highly recommend
Downtown Restaurant at Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, or
Chuck Wagon Café over at Disney Hotel Cheyenne.
A real staple of Disney Enchanted Christmas is usually Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade, which we always try to watch every day of our visit. It is one of the most festive things I have ever seen! In previous years, this parade has taken place twice daily, so dining reservations can usually be worked around by choosing the performance that does not conflict. The nighttime spectacular at Disneyland Park takes place at park closing time each evening, subject to weather conditions. In November, the park typically closes at around 10 pm, although occasionally this can be as early as 7 pm.
Christmas 2026 is also going to be a little different, as there will be lots of new experiences over at
Disney Adventure World. This includes a brand new nighttime spectacular,
Disney Cascade of Lights! While schedules for this new show have not yet been released, it is definitely something you will want to factor into your plans, as you may wish to see two nighttime spectaculars during your visit.
