Hiya Ashlee,
Welcome to planDisney! We are thrilled to have you here and are planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. Your question is very timely since I was just trying to navigate this with my little Mouseketeer.
Like you, I created a profile for my child and wanted to see if I could have my Prince Charming manage her plans. Unfortunately, only the Guest who created the profile can manage its plans, and the management cannot be transferred to someone else. If the other adult has the child on their
Family & Friends list, they can add them to reservations and make other plans for them, but you will remain the "owner" of the account. For example, I manage my daughter's account, but her dad can add her to our dining and hotel reservations without me having to do anything. He can also reserve her
Disney Park Pass Reservations (when she's old enough to need them). Basically, in my experience, it doesn't make a huge difference who officially manages the account or not. Now, if, for some reason, the other planner isn't seeing the child's account in their Family and Friends list, then I recommend reaching out to a
Cast Member. Sometimes technology can get a little glitchy, so they can often troubleshoot any issues that you may be experiencing concerning that.
I hope this was helpful, Ashlee! As you plan your vacation, please come back and see us for any tips and tricks. We love helping Guests have memorable trips, so we will be happy to do anything we can to help.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
