I'm trying to think of some somewhat quiet places to push my child in their stroller while they nap. Are strollers permitted in the gallery area of walt disney presents? Or shops? If not, what are some good places at Hollywood studios?

Hiya, Teela! Thanks so much for visiting us here at planDisney with such a great question!

There is just so much to do and see at Disney's Hollywood Studios, so I often long for the days when my parents would plop little me in my stroller for a quick power nap! But, while those days may be long over for me, I do still like to take a little break mid-day in a nice quiet spot to relax, recharge and get ready to enjoy the rest of my day. So, I have a few perfect areas in mind for a calm and quiet place for your baby to nap.

You will be happy to know that strollers are more than welcome in Walt Disney Presents, so long as they are no larger than 31 inches in width and 52 inches in length. The Gallery of Walt Disney Presents is a perfect place to cool down and pass some time while exploring some fascinating Disney artifacts and learning all about the man behind the mouse, all while the baby catches up on some Z's.

One of my favorite spots for a quick relaxation break in Disney's Hollywood Studios is Grand Avenue. This area, right outside of Muppet*Vision 3D, has lots of shaded walking space, a gorgeous fountain, and tons of tucked-away bunches to take a load off. It's such a stunning place to unwind, but it doesn't get a ton of foot traffic, making it the perfect spot to push your stroller around while the baby naps. If you get hungry, you can head over to BaseLine Tap House, located right outside of Grand Avenue, for one of their famous Bavarian Pretzels with Beer-Cheese Fondue and Spicy Mustard.

You can also take advantage of the Baby Care Center, located next to Guest Relations at the entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Baby Care Center offers fabulous amenities, including private nursing rooms, changing stations and more. It looks like you will be arriving over the summer, so I want to point out that all the Baby Care Centers throughout Walt Disney World are air-conditioned, making them an excellent option for nap time on a hot day! My good friend and fellow planDisney panelist, Tony, did a fabulous video walk-through of the Baby Care Center at Disney's Hollywood Studios over on the planDisney Instagram. I highly recommend checking that out to learn more!

Teela, thanks again for your excellent question. Please stop by planDisney again soon with any other questions we can help you with!

    Happy Planning!
