Hi Patricia!
Breakfast with Mickey and Minnie,
Epcot's world of international cuisines, a traditional theme park burger and fries, signature dining with sweeping vistas and firework views- there are almost as many
Walt Disney World's dining choices as books in the Beast's library.
Our family of six finds grabbing reservations can be a bit of a challenge, especially since Walt Disney World's reopening. With fewer restaurants open and staff not completely ramped up, guests are vying for fewer tables. With a little planning, however, you can snag a six top.
Dining reservations drop at 6:00 am, so on your 60 day out date be online around 5:45 am, especially if you have a special dinning experience you really want to enjoy. Not an early riser or already inside your two month window? Take a look at Epcot's dinning options. This park has so many table service options, you are more likely to find an open reservation. My family has enjoyed Via Napoli at 3:00 in the afternoon and Le Cellier at 4:45 pm, so if you are willing to eat at a nontraditional time, your odds increase. Continue to check for openings; cancellations constantly occur, so spots do open up. We've managed to even snag same day reservations.
Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for restaurant reopenings. When a restaurant ramps back up, all its reservations are available. For example,
Boma- Flavors of Africa opens on August 20th with every opening for the next 60 days available to book starting August 18th.
Calling Disney Dinning at (407) 936-3463 is also an option, but have something on hand to keep you entertained while you listen to Disney hold music. Wait times are currently longer due to higher than normal call volume.
Your family can still eat like royalty even if you end up not eating a table service meal. Unique and delicious quick service options abound. Try
Satu'li Canteen in
Disney's Animal Kingdom for innovative dishes or
Woody's Lunch Box in
Disney's Hollywood Studios for fun eats. I stop by Epcot's French bakery the
Les Halles Boulangerie and Patisserie on every trip.
Enjoy all the Mickey shaped foods!
