Im trying to reserve an available date for dining at lunch on 26th December at the Rainforest Cafe in DAK. My son is 2. The number in the party default to 2 for my and my husband. Is it like the tickets where I dont have to count him? Thank you

    Hi Nicole,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question about Advanced Dining Reservations.  It looks like you are planning a wonderful Boxing Day visit for your family, I am sure your son is going to love dining at the Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom, it is so much fun!

Even though your son is only 2 years old for Dining Reservations, you do need to include everyone who will be dining on in your Advanced Dining Reservation, for capacity purposes.  The Cast Members need to have an accurate count in order to prepare for their day, it will allow for things to run smoothly at the Dining Location.  Keep trying to see if you can find an Advanced Reservation for 3 people, I check frequently and can usually find what I am looking for eventually.  You could also book the Advanced Dining Reservation for the two of you and see if My Disney Experience allows you to modify the reservation.

During your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom, try to catch the new Disney Kite Tails at the Discovery River Theater.  I bet your son will love the different kites that dance around the sky choreographed to some of our favorite Disney songs.

I hope you are able to find an Advanced Dining Reservation for your visit on December 26, Nicole.  If you have any other questions please come back and visit planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
