Hiya there Jonathan!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for submitting your question today! I am honoured that you came to us during your planning process for your family reunion and I am thrilled to be helping you today! There's truly no better place to create magical memories with your family than the Walt Disney World Resort and especially during The World's Most Magical Celebration.
Now let's talk about planning a family reunion. I would recommend that you create an account on
My Disney Experience and make sure the rest of your family creates one as well. That will allow you to make plans like dining or park reservations for the whole family and everyone will have access to your itinerary! You can also add people to your itinerary without them needing an account if you have little ones in your party or anyone who isn't tech-savvy. If your family members also have smartphones, they can download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App on their iPhone, iPad or Android smartphones which will allow them to have a copy of your itinerary everywhere and even make reservations and mobile food orders on the app! If you are travelling with little ones, the
Mobile Order Service is a great way to order meals ahead of time and avoid waiting in line.
As for sleeping arrangements, Disney has many types of rooms and offerings that will accommodate big parties. I would highly recommend calling the
Disney Reservation Center to learn about different options and possible group rates that might be available to you. Depending on your party size, my recommendation would be to check out
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The Cabins sleep up to six adults and each have their own kitchen which is perfect for a family trip. I got to stay at The Cabins in 2019 and my family and I absolutely loved it! Being able to stay together and even bring our family dog made our stay so special!
Finally, you will need to make sure that the whole family has
valid theme park admission and theme park reservations. By linking your tickets to your My Disney Experience Accounts, you will be able to make
theme park reservations for your whole party. While you will make memories that will last a lifetime, I would also recommend checking out the
Memory Maker service which will give you access to your
PhotoPass photos. PhotoPass is an incredible service that allows you to have your picture taken by Cast Members all over the parks and keep the photos taken on select rides. PhotoPass Cast Members truly know how to capture the magic of your Disney vacation and will leave you with the most beautiful photos to remember your special trip.
I hope this was helpful, Jonathan, and I hope that you and your family create the most magical memories on your next Disney trip! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions, we are always happy to help!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
