    I’m trying to purchase an onboard gift. Why does it say unable to add to shopping cart? I am able to add other gifts to my cart. Does it mean it’s no longer available?

    Ah, yes, Onboard Gifts! One of the best ways to pre-select some in-room amenities, packages, or treats to make embarking on your incredible Disney Cruise Line vacation even more special! I remember the first time my family received an onboard gift from someone shoreside - it made us feel like visiting royalty! There's just something about a little ice bucket and a bottle of a delicious beverage or celebration cake to make our first moments in our stateroom feel like a "welcome home!" 

    I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble purchasing one of your desired options, but where there's a will there's a way! I checked with a crew member and was told that if something is unable to be added via the Onboard Gifts website that doesn't necessarily mean that it's completely unavailable - in many instances, you should be able to call Disney Cruise Line directly and a crew member may be able to add it. Now, this is subject to the true availability of particular gifts, but the crew members sometimes have the phenomenal cosmic powers to give you the best chance of arriving at your "itty bitty living space" with the gifts you seek! Oh, and make sure your request comes at least three days before your embarkation date!

    One thing to note, if one of your wishes is to add the photo package and you're having trouble doing so through the website, currently that package cannot be added by phone either at the moment due to a system update. In that case, your options would be to continue checking back on the website, or simply visit Guest Services once you are aboard! 

    No matter the gift, and no matter how much the difficulty, I assure you every attempt to pair you and your wishes will be pursued! Before you know it, you'll be in a whole new world of adventure aboard the Disney Cruise Line fleet, and enjoying your onboard gifts on your amazing Disney Cruise Line vacation!
