Hi, I'm trying to plan a vacation to disney but i have to work around my cousin and my school schedule. My familyalso wants to see disney decorated for xmas. if we go the week of January 8th will it still be decorated for xmas?

Unfortunately, Taylor, you'll likely miss the holiday decorations during a trip starting on January 8th.  The magic makers at Disney are not only festive little elves when it comes to decking the halls, but so, too, are they quick and efficient at removing the holiday splendor once Christmas has come and gone.  You'd also miss the holiday events and parades.  On the bright side?  The heavy holiday crowds will have mostly dissipated by the second week of January and you'd find it a whole lot easier to navigate through the parks.  I hope that helps in your planning!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
