Welcome to the WDW Moms Panel!
First, you're taking the initiative to get information so you are on the right path to a magical journey.
Armed with some basic knowledge of Walt Disney World, you'll be ready to advance to more complex tasks such as selecting a resort, park tickets, planning an itinerary and making Advance Dining Reservations.
For now, let's embark on the beginner course:
-I would go to your local library or bookstore and purchase one of the many WDW travel guidebooks in order to familiarize yourself with the Walt Disney World resort. Since you were unaware that Walt Disney World consists of four parks (Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios), you'll be surprised to hear that WDW covers 47 square miles. There are also water parks, golf courses, miniature golf courses, more than two dozen hotels, shopping and entertainment areas, a campground and more! A fun book to read with your daughter would be Birnbaum's "Walt Disney World for Kids".
-Order a
free planning DVD.
-Watch for
special offers to save vacation dollars.
-Visits websites such as www.allears.net and www.mousesavers.com.
-Look at maps of the theme parks.
-Ask friends and family about their WDW experiences.
-Visit us at www.disneyworldmoms.com with all your questions.
After your initial learning course, you should feel more comfortable embarking on a trip to the Mouse's House. By the time you arrive WDW, I hope you'll feel right at home.
