I'm trying to plan a trip for my kids birthday and I can't seem to find what I need I want to purchase annual passes.

Hey there, Jessica! Welcome to planDisney!

A magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is my favorite gift ever! Whether we're celebrating our anniversary, or having a special dinner for Mothers Day, or we’re taking our little guy for his birthday, you can always find us heading to the theme parks to commemorate many of our special occasions.

Right now, as Disney continues to work through its phased reopening process, sales of new Annual Passes are still paused for the moment. We haven’t gotten word yet on when they’ll be back, but I’m hoping it won’t be too much longer. Be sure to keep an eye on the Parks and Tickets: Know Before You Go page on the Walt Disney World website for updates.

In the meantime, Disney is running a discount on Florida Resident Tickets that might be the answer to your birthday wish! You can get 4-Day Tickets for 40% off the regular price, and you can buy them right on the website. It’s a great deal that may just help you enjoy a little Disney magic while we wait for Annual Passes to come back.

Jessica, when you and your Mouseketeer are celebrating a pixie-dusted birthday in the parks, don’t forget to pick up a free Celebration Button. You can find them at any Guest Relations location, or at many retail shops around Walt Disney World. A Cast Member can personalize it for you, and the birthday kid will love all the warm wishes coming their way all day!

I hope this helps you plan a practically perfect birthday at Walt Disney World, Jessica. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
