Hello, Diana!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I, first want to say thank you to your husband for HIS service and to YOU to for being such a support system to him. I hope you find this vacation to be a perfect fit for your family's needs. With the Disney Wonder leaving out of Galveston, it's so convenient for us Texans...maybe a little
too convenient!
Each evening is usually pretty busy in the atrium before and after dinner. If you find its better to finish your dinner service in a shorter amount of time, definitely discuss with your dining room servers and head server and preorder your meals to have them ready to expedite your dinner service.
Pirate Night is definitely a loud and boisterous, fun filled evening and the deck party includes fireworks so that may be a great night for a quiet, adult-exclusive dinner at Palo.
One recommendation that I have as a getaway is the Rainforest Room within the Senses Spa. You can purchase
day-passes ahead of your sailing or pick up a week-long pass on embarkation day. The Rainforest Room is a great place to get away from the busyness and crowds and retreat to a calm, serene and peaceful room with heated loungers, saunas and steam showers.
If ever in doubt or the necessity arises, please know that you can always retreat to your stateroom and call in Room Service or have dinner by the pool while enjoying a favorite Disney movie on the Funnel Vision. With a large ship, you can always find a place to sneak off to for some peace and quiet!
Do enjoy every bit of your time at sea, Diana! I know your family will make many magical memories!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
