    I'm trying to plan our first trip. There will be 4 of us - parents, 1 13-yr-old boy, and 1 10-yr-old girl. I'm trying to decide on a time to for our visit. Is December an ok time? The kids will be out of school, and work will be slower for us.

    I actually believe that December is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World...one of the best times of year to be honest with you. The parks and resorts are all decked out in holiday splendor, the crowds are quite low compared to the rest of the year, and the weather, although a bit unpredictable, is usually quite nice most of the time. The dates that fall right after Thanksgiving weekend until right up to Christmas are ideal. There are also some pretty good deals on hotels, packages, etc. during the end of the year. If December is the time of year that works best for you and your family, then I wouldn't hesitsate for one second to come at that time, it's wonderful!! :)
