    I'm trying to plan our first trip to Disney and was wondering what the best Moderate resort for a 2 1/2 year old girl would be?

    Hi Joanne!  Congrats on planning your first trip to Walt Disney World!  Make sure you drop by guest relations at the first park you visit to pick up a "First Visit" button!

    Personally, for families with young children, I prefer Port Orleans French Quarter from the moderate hotel offerings.  It's the smallest of the moderate resorts, so it's very manageable, yet the food court and pool are still very nice.  While it doesn't have a table service restaurant, Boatrights at the Riverside section is just a short walk away.

    I also had a good experience with the buses.  While the French Quarter and Riverside often share buses, they typically pick up at French Quarter first, meaning you should be able to get on and get a seat with little issue.
