I'm trying to plan for our first Disney trip in 2013, when is the best time to take my 3 adventurous boys, 5, 8, 9? I am looking to stay at one of the Animal Kingdom Villas, need to prepare meals due to severe food allergies and picky eater.

Hi April, Congratulations on planning your first trip to Walt Disney World Resort!! Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite resorts! I love visiting Disney during all four seasons; however, I believe you will need to visit when your little Pirates are out of school. The Christmas season is a great time to visit. All of the Holiday decorations are up throughout the resort and theme parks. Spring break time is usually a very busy time of the year. Late May and early June are also great times to visit.
