    I'm trying to plan a Disney vacation during the Lunar New Year festivities in 2026. It's getting close and I still don't know any dates and can't book anything for 2026! When will the dates be announced and reservations open up for 2026?

    Hi there, Carrie. Welcome to planDisney!

    Our family loves the festivities at Disney California Adventure Park during Lunar New Year and has visited numerous times during the celebration. The cooler weather during that time of the year also makes it more enjoyable! My daughter also loves Mulan, and she enjoys meeting her during character meet-and-greet.

    While Disneyland Resort has not yet announced the dates for the Lunar New Year Celebration in 2026, it did open up reservations for Guests to book a hotel stay or vacation package for the upcoming year. On the Disneyland Resort website, you can check out the 3 different onsite properties, browse the available amenities and peruse the various room types. Theme park tickets can also be purchased. If you’d like, you can also add on Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Park Hopper options prior to finalizing your vacation package.
