Hi there, Sharese! Welcome to planDisney!
Booking a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is always an exciting time. Choosing the best
Disney Resort Hotel, mapping out your days in the parks and
making advance dining reservations help build anticipation for your trip! If you need some help planning, you've come to the right place!
First things first, it is important for you to know that the
Holiday Season is one of the most popular times of the year at the Walt Disney World Resort. While I do not say this to discourage you, you may not have every option available to you when it comes to booking a Disney Resort Hotel or dining reservation, as many of these have already been scooped up by other Guests who have been planning for a while. If you decide you'd like to move forward, it may be best to start by putting together a
Vacation Package.
On the
Walt Disney World Resort Website, there is a feature near the top of the home page that allows you to input your preferred vacation dates, number of Guests and hotel preferences. Once you've done so, click "Find Resorts" to see the available options that fit your needs. If you find a hotel in the price range that works for you, give it a click and select the room type you'd like to book. Next, you'll be asked to choose the number of days that you'll need tickets to the theme parks. I find this page helpful because it shows the prices right next to each option, allowing you to easily track your budget as you make your selections. Next, choose the type of ticket and hit "Continue." Confirm that all of your selections are correct, then follow the steps to checkout.
After you've got your hotel reservation and tickets on the books, the next step is to make theme park reservations. You'll want to decide which days you'd like to visit each park, then use the
Disney Park Pass Reservation System to ensure your place in the parks on those days. You may also consider any additional planning, like dining reservations or
Enchanting Extras to make your vacation even more magical. These options are entirely optional.
While the Walt Disney World Resort is as magical a place as any, the planning process can be a little overwhelming. If you'd prefer to book your stay over the phone with the help of a friendly, experienced Cast Member, you can call the
Vacation Packages Line to get started. They'll also be able to direct you to other departments if you'd like to add anything special to your stay while you're on the phone.
Finally, Sharese, if this is all still too much and you'd prefer the help of a more traditional travel agent, you can search for "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner" online. You'll be met with a host of planners who can handle the ins and outs of your trip, taking some of the stress off of you to handle the details.
No matter how you choose to book your vacation, I'm sure you'll have a magical time! I hope this has helped guide you in the planning process today, Sharese. Please feel free to reach back out to us here at
planDisney with any additional questions!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
