I’m trying to plan dining reservations and with the changes in park hours, how late do the Disney buses run for transportation to and from resorts from the parks and other hotels?

Hi Stacy! Welcome back to planDisney!

My family's number one priority when visiting our happy place is FOOD! Where will we eat? What snacks are nearby? Did anyone check Disney Parks Blog for the current limited-time food offers? That was delicious ... now when do we eat next? We may be a little obsessed, but that's only because there are so many tasty things to try at Walt Disney World Resort!

Walt Disney World complimentary transportation makes getting around super convenient! As a general rule, transportation begins operating 45-minutes before each theme park's opening and continues until 1-hour after the theme park closes. There may be slight alterations to this depending on the day, so it is a good idea to check with a Cast Member and confirm operating hours.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, but dining at another, you will need to make sure that you are finished dining in time to take transportation to one of the four theme parks or Disney Springs, then hop on the appropriate transportation back to the Disney Resort hotel you are staying at. If you find yourself needing to get back to your hotel after transportation hours have ended, or just want to get back more quickly than the transportation transfers can carry you, a ride-sharing service can be a good backup plan.

I hope this helps as you plan your dining reservations, Stacy! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
