Hi I’m trying to plan a 7 day trip to Walt Disney World for sometime in January 2024 when will I be allowed to make a reservation in January?

    Hi Kynlyn,

Boy oh boy, can I relate to you!  As my family's official vacation planner, I usually have the next 2 or 3 vacation plans already in the works at any given time.  After all, planning is part of the fun!

Currently, Walt Disney World vacation packages and room-only reservations are available through December 31, 2023.  We expect the new annual packages and room-only reservations to be released sometime late spring.  In my opinion, the best way to be apprised of the release date for 2024 packages and also to add a little bit of Magic to your day is by following the Disney Parks Blog.

Even though you will not be able to make your reservations for a little while, you can still do quite a bit of planning and even a little dreaming.  I like to begin my vacation planning by selecting the theme parks we want to visit, the places we would like to dine, and the attractions we want to experience.  Usually, my list is quite large by that point and the hardest part is trimming it down!  From there, I like to explore the Enchanting Extras Collection and see what "Magical Extra" I can plan for us in between all of our other must-dos.

Happy planning Kynlyn!  Please come back and visit us with all of your vacation planning questions.  We are always excited to help you plan your next Magical adventure.

    See Ya Real Soon,
