I'm trying to plan out our day at Blizzard beach with our 2.5 year old and 8 month old. Are there shaded areas available (not interested in renting) and can I bring a water ring sling in the park?

Hello, Kristen and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Walt Disney World Resort’s adventures await your arrival and a visit to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is the perfect way to relax and chill with your family.

Shadier areas can be found deeper inside Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park nearest The Warming Hut. This is a well-shaded area, which many Guests do not immediately gravitate to upon entry. The trek over is well worth your effort and you may also enjoy a delicious meal at The Warming Hut. This area is located near Mount Gushmore and the main pool for your added convenience, Kristen. I also recommend you arrive at the water park early in the morning for the best possible selection of chairs near The Warming Hut.

Kristen, you are welcome to bring water rings for your children for their added safety and comfort, if you wish.
