I'm trying to plan a character lunch or dinner with my family. We have 5 kids (girls 16,14) (boys 8,6,5) whats the best places to try. prefer a more casual setting. Should i save it towards the end of our visit? Were visiting from March 29th thru April 6th

There are so many great character dining experiences here at WDW.  However, I do have my favorites.  As far as I'm concerned, Chef Mickey's is the most awesome dining experience around! This restaurant is located inside the Contemporary Resort.  Be ready to party with Mickey and the Gang as you dine on an all-you-care-to-eat buffet.  The food is simply delicious and the company is MAGICAL!

Another great restaurant is The Crystal Palace which is located inside the Magic Kingdom.  This restaurant features Winnie the Pooh and Friends.  I cannot think of anything better than dining with such adorable characters.  The food is also delicious!  Be ready to get up and join Winnie the Pooh and Friends as they parade through their favorite restaurant.

Ready to dine with some mischievous characters?  You can find Chip 'n Dale at Epcot's Garden Grill Restaurant.  Can you believe that this place actually rotates?  Oh, some other fabulous characters will drop on by, so have those cameras ready.

If you are planning on more than one character dining experience, I would just split it up between your days. However, it sounds like you are considering just one.  Your vacation is just around the corner and character dining tends to fill-up quickly.  I would get on the phone with Disney Dining today by calling (406)WDW-DINE and securing a reservation.  You may not have many choices, so I would just take the first available date.  Many folks begin planning their dining reservations 180 days out from the start of their vacation, so you need to act fast.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
