Welcome to planDisney, Neil. Let's get your question answered!
I love a good split stay. It gives you a taste of two (or more) different hotels in one vacation. It's especially nice when you have a longer vacation, just as you do! Plus,
in 2025, all Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel get free admission to whichever water park is open and operating on their check-in day. So, what does that mean for you? Well, if you're staying at two different hotels, that means you have two different reservations, and that means you have two different check-in days. So, you can likely experience a
water park for free on the day you check into your first hotel...and then again when you check into your second hotel. Now
that's a win-win!
To book a split stay, you would need to make two separate
reservations. So, first, book your hotel and ticket package for your first stay, and then go back and book your hotel-only stay for your second. If you're going to do a third, you can do that next. Just note that our friends in the United Kingdom can currently book either a
7-day ticket or a 14-day ticket in advance of their visit. If you'd like a ticket for a different amount of days, you'd need to purchase the tickets when you arrive at the resort (or when you've arrived in the United States and have access to the U.S. version of the website).
Now, I know you're not 100 percent decided on a third hotel, but I'm going to give you my suggestion for one in case you decide to do it: go for
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This way, you'd have all three of the resorts on the
Walt Disney World Monorail covered...and talk about capping off your vacation in a truly grand way. This hotel is the crown jewel of the
Walt Disney World Resort, and
the restaurants are magnificent. I mean, after a long day at
the parks or a long day of relaxation by the
pool, there's nothing better than a visit to
The Enchanted Rose. This is by far my favorite
lounge on property!
Neil, happy planning! If you have any other questions leading up to your visit,
be sure to reach out again. And while 2024's Valentine's Day offerings aren't guaranteed to return for
your Valentine's Day visit in 2025, it doesn't hurt to
check out the Foodie Guide from this past holiday to get an idea of what
might be offered when you're there!
We call it bella notte,
Matt
