Hello Jamese! That’s a great question to ask! And a fun one to answer!
The first thing I want to recommend is to stay at a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection! And, if the goal is to make this vacation all about the pre-schoolers, then I can recommend no better resort than
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! This resort is full of Disney magic! From themed pools to themed rooms, this is the “Disney-est” of all the resorts! My favorite area to stay in is the Lion King section. There are three other sections themed to Car, The Little Mermaid, and Finding Nemo! The character statues throughout the resort are my favorite! They are everywhere! And, don’t forget, as a Guest of a Disney Resort Hotel, you can enter the parks 30-minutes prior to the posted opening time!
Next, you’ll want to schedule a celebratory birthday meal (or two)! I’d like to recommend
Chef Mickey’s for breakfast at Disney’s Contemporary Resort,
Topolino’s Terrace for breakfast at Disney’s Riviera Resort,
Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park for lunch or dinner, or
Tusker House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park for lunch or dinner! Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Daisy can be found hosting these character meals!
Finally, there are four Disney Parks! You’ll want to select the parks that your children will find most interesting to them! When my children were pre-school age we always visited Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios! These parks had the rides and attractions that interested them most!
Jamese, feel free to bring back any additional questions as you plan the birthday getaway for your family!
