Hi there! I'm trying to get a Minnie and Friends character dining reservation for our trip between August 17th and August 22nd (preferably August 21st) but I don't see *any* available times!

Hiya, Stephanie! I’m sending you a big ol’ sunny welcome to planDisney! Your trip is just around the corner, which means it's time to start celebrating like you're soaring high above Fantasyland on Dumbo the Flying Elephant!

I totally get why you're wanting to snag a reservation for “Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park” at Plaza Inn. It's truly a gem! Not only do you get to share a delightful breakfast (hello, Mickey Waffles!) with Minnie and her best pals, but you also get to do it right inside Disneyland Park! How perfectly magical is that?!

Now, I'm sorry to hear you haven't been able to find an available time just yet. It sounds like other Guests have been faster than Stitch snagging all the desserts! But don't you worry, Stephanie, because you still have plenty of time to find that perfect spot!

Dining reservations typically open up 60 days in advance, and since your trip is less than two months away, we're definitely in that window. My best tip for anyone on a dining reservation quest is to look early and look often! Guests' plans change more often than Cinderella's outfit, so I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a reservation pop up before your visit. I've even had luck getting a same-day reservation at another super popular spot, Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure Park! Just keep checking, Stephanie—your persistence might just pay off… like finding a hidden Mickey!

If you aren't able to snag that coveted reservation with Minnie and her friends at Plaza Inn, please don't lose heart, because Disneyland Resort has some other truly fantastic character dining options that are absolutely worth checking out!

Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is my personal favorite! Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet is fantastic, and did you know they recently added character dining in the evening? Donald's Tales of Adventure Dinner Buffet is definitely worth checking out! I enjoyed a fabulous dinner there before evening character dining was introduced, and I'd go back just for the food alone!

For a dining experience filled with delightful antics and tasty treats, you might consider Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel! Get ready for some whimsical fun and a delicious buffet experience with Goofy and his pals at this lively spot.

Or, if a regal morning filled with enchanting encounters sounds like your ideal start to the day, look no further than the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! This experience is perfect for any fan of Disney Princesses, offering a unique and memorable way to meet your favorite royalty.

So, Stephanie, while you've got a whole menu of fantastic character dining options to choose from, know that I'm still sending all the pixie dust and wishing on a star for that “Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park” reservation to appear! Whatever magic unfolds, I know your dining experiences will be absolutely delightful.

    Have a magical day!
