If you are a registered Guest over the age of 18 on a vacation package, you should be able to purchase a
MagicBand through your
My Disney Experience account. This process usually does not need to be completed by the lead Guest on the reservation. However, this is a one-time transaction that affects all of the Guests on the reservation. When completing the process, you would either have to select or decline MagicBands for everyone on the reservation and pay for all of them in one transaction. Before you do that, it's good to know that once you decline a MagicBand for someone on the reservation, that action cannot be undone. Of course, you can also choose to purchase a band from
the Disney Store website or at one of the
merchandise locations at the
Walt Disney World Resort, likely including the one at your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel.
If you would like to complete this process, click on "
My MagicBands and Cards" from the My Disney Experience dropdown menu. Then, click the blue "Get Started" button under the Guests' names on the reservation. For each Guest for whom you'd like to purchase a band, click the blue "Select" button under their name, choose the desired MagicBand, enter the name you'd like inscribed on the back of the band, then press "Complete." For anyone who is declining a band, you'll click the blue "Select" button under their name, then click the "Decline a MagicBand" link under their name and confirm by selecting "Decline Pre-Arrival Offer." Once either step is completed for all the Guests on the reservation, select the blue "Proceed to Checkout" button and follow the prompts to pay for the bands. If you want them shipped to you before the trip, you must complete this process 11 or more days before your reservation. If you complete it between 6 and 10 days before your reservation, they will be waiting for you at the
Front Desk of your hotel. After that, you would no longer be eligible for the pre-arrival offer.
