David from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I'm trying to look at booking in early 2026. It does not seem that the hotels are available. When do they become available?

    Hi David,

Thanks so much for swinging by planDisney before you plan your trip! If you’re looking at booking a hotel at any of the Disneyland Resort Hotels in 2026, I have great news to share! 2026 dates are now open and available for you to book!

If you are still undecided on which hotel to stay at, I would be happy to share my two cents! The Grand Californian would be a perfect resort for you to get a taste of California’s wilderness while staying in luxury! Or if you’re looking for a cozy place to stay amongst all your favorite Pixar characters, Pixar Place Hotel may be the spot for you! Pro tip: Make sure to check out the lobby at a few different times of the day. If you’re lucky, you just might spot Bing Bong walking around, or maybe even catch a tune from the jazz piano legend Joe Gardner himself! Of course, if you’re looking for the classic Disney experience, you can’t go wrong with the Disneyland Hotel! There are four towers at the Disneyland Hotel, all with their own unique theme and name: Fantasy, Adventure, Frontier, and the Villas at Disneyland Hotel.

I know when I stay on the property, I always like to take some time to enjoy the pool. If you’re traveling with any little ones who like to splish and splash, all the pools on property can offer a relaxing and fun time out of the sun. Heads up, if water slides are your jam, each pool has one, but you can’t beat coasting down the monorail-themed slide at the Disneyland Hotel.

I hope this information was helpful, David! Whichever hotel you choose for your 2026 stay, I’m positive you’ll have a magical time! If you have more questions or would like tips for your upcoming adventure, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We're always here to add a little extra pixie dust magic to vacation.

    Happy Planning!
