Hi! I’m trying to go to Disneyland California and I have etickets. I was wondering how I make my reservation for may 9, 2023? I also have 2 that expired. I was wondering if I can use them? Also, how would I add the Genie plus to my ticket? Thank you

Hello there, Lindsay! Thanks for dropping in and asking us a question here at planDisney!

I'm excited to hear that you are wanting to visit Disneyland soon. The weather is finally warming up and this makes for a perfect park day! If you already have valid eTickets and want to make a theme park reservation, you would link those tickets to your Disney account and then follow the prompts on the Tickets and Reservations Details page. If you have wholly unused and expired tickets, you would need to contact Ticket Services or bring them to the Main Entrance Ticket Booth in the Esplanade between the two parks. Wholly, unused expired tickets can be turned in and the value can be used towards new tickets of equal or greater value.

Currently, there are two ways to add Disney Genie+ to a Disneyland ticket. The first option is to add the service to the entirety of the ticket during your purchase. If you do not add it on when you purchase the ticket, you will be able to purchase Disney Genie+ for the day once you have scanned your ticket and entered the park for the first time that day. This can all be done through the Disneyland app. Disney Genie+ is a great way to maximize your time if you have limited time and days in the parks.

Lindsay, I hope this information is helpful to you. If you will be in Disneyland Park in the afternoon or evening, I highly suggest checking the Entertainment Schedule to see the showtimes for the "Magic Happens" Parade. It is a stunning show that I can't wait to see again. See you real soon!
