Hi Patricia! Welcome to planDisney!
First, I want to say a big "THANK YOU!" for all you do in healthcare! While I already had a deep appreciation for those in the healthcare industry, this past year has brought it to light even more. You have been on the front lines of unprecedented times, and I definitely understand the need to get away and make some magical memories!
Since the
reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort last year, capacity has been reduced to keep both Guests and Cast Members safe and healthy. That is why the
Disney Park Pass reservation system has been so crucial! Like you, I think many Guests are seeking a "happy place" and many are finding that at the Most Magical Place on Earth, which means the theme parks often reach capacity making reservations and theme park tickets unavailable.
Looking at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, it looks like EPCOT is the only park available for your dates of May 12-13, 2021. You have a couple of options. You can go ahead and
purchase tickets and make reservations for
EPCOT where the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is currently taking place (it is so much fun!). You can skip the theme parks and head to
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park,
Disney Springs, one of the beautiful golf courses, or even
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf. You can also keep checking often to see if any last-minute availability opens for Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Hollywood Studios. I have my fingers crossed that they will!
I know this isn't the best news, but you do have some options at least! I hope you are still able to have a wonderful visit, Patricia! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
