I’m trying to find a room at a Disney hotel from December 3-10, 2022. Every hotel says unavailable. But park reservations are all green still for that week. Are there really no rooms available?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Shane!

I have gone through a similar situation for my upcoming stay, but it has worked itself out. Unfortunately, there is a possibility there are currently no reservations available for the timeframe you are looking to visit. My recommendation is to keep checking as availability changes (sometimes daily). For example, I took the liberty of doing a quick search for your dates, and there is currently one resort available at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort at the Gran Destino Tower. Of course, this could change, but it is a good example that shows that availability could change at any time.

To ensure you do not miss out on having a reservation in place, it might be a good idea to secure a reservation at a hotel/resort outside of Walt Disney World Resort. I am partial to the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels because of their proximity to Disney Springs and budget-friendly costs (in some cases). If you secure a reservation at an outside hotel and you find an opening at the resort you desire, you can always cancel the other reservation (as long as you are within their cancellation window).

There is good news in all of this: availability exists at the theme parks; definitely make your theme park reservations and have them in place. I hope this helps.

Please return if you have additional questions.

    Have a magical stay
