Ahoy Chelsea,
Thank you so much for coming to planDisney with your question! Your cruise on the
Disney Magic sounds wonderful. That itinerary is what we often call a "Double Dip" - with two stops at
Disney Castaway Cay, Disney's private island! This is one of my favorite itineraries, with so much Disney-inspired beach relaxation!
I have found that the best way to find out what themed nights you will have on your sailing is to
call Disney Cruise Line. By providing the cast member there with information on which sailing you are taking, you can find out if the theme evenings for your sailing have been planned and for which nights. Please do note that these are always subject to change, and the best way to confirm them is to check on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once you have boarded the ship.
I called and spoke with a cast member, who let me know that you will have a
Pirate Night on your sailing. Pirate Night is such a fun and joyful night on a Disney cruise! You can experience a pirate-themed dinner, the Pirates in the Caribbean Deck Party, and cap the evening off watching the spectacular fireworks at sea. Seeing fireworks off to the side of the ship while you are at sea is truly magical.
There is also a
formal night planned on your sailing. While there are guidelines for dress on this night, please do note that this is always optional. My family does enjoy dressing up for this evening and taking advantage of the elegant backdrops that the Disney photographers have set up for the evening.
In addition, you are on one of the
Silver Anniversary at Sea sailings celebrating 25 years of Disney Cruise Line. Be sure to look for special touches around the ship for this, including special entertainment, desserts and cocktails, and characters in shimmery special costumes!
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Chelsea. Please feel free to sail on back to planDisney if you have any further questions!
