Hi I’m trying to find a forum for Fish Extenders can you help me out with a site for this?

    Ahoy, Matthew!

Thanks for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I'm happy to hear you're interested in learning about the Fish Extender tradition on Disney Cruise Line. Fish Extender exchanges are not an "official" Disney activity, instead, they are a fun activity created by fans of Disney Cruise Line as a way to share the joy of cruising with other guests.

Fish Extenders are fabric pockets that guests hang from the metal fish wall ornament outside their stateroom doors. (That's where the name comes from - the pockets extend from your "fish"!) Guests create groups of fellow cruisers with whom they exchange small gifts, by placing the trinkets in the hanging pockets (like Christmas stockings!) outside stateroom doors. It's a lot like "Secret Santa" but with a nautical twist.

Guests wishing to participate in the fun can find more information on Disney Cruise Line discussion boards such as DisBoards.com, or by simply Googling "Fish Extenders". The easiest way I've found to join a Fish Extender Exchange group is through Facebook. Simply put the name of your ship and sail dates in the search bar, and you'll usually find a group page for your cruise! Pinterest has lots of ideas for Fish Extender gifts, if you're looking for inspiration.

I hope this helps explain the tradition, and gives you some ideas how to get involved. Happy sailing! - Diane W.
