Hiya, Tammie, and thanks for stopping by planDisney!
I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World! Spring is my absolute favorite time to visit, so I'm more than happy to help you get your plans sorted out. Let's hop right to it!
When it comes to booking a Disney World vacation, a vacation package is always a great way to go. It's such a convenient way to wrap your hotel stay, park tickets, and even the
Disney Dining Plan into one total cost. Sometimes, you can even apply a
Special Offer to bring that total cost down!
But here's the thing: to book a Disney World vacation package, you'll need to choose a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel OR
one of these select hotels. Disney Resorts Collection hotels are absolutely incredible and offer some pretty great perks. But you can also build a vacation package with an affiliated hotel like the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista or the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. These generally offer lower prices, as well as shuttle service to the parks and
Early Theme Park Entry. Personally, I'm a BIG fan of the
Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista. It's walking distance to Disney Springs,
and includes a full hot breakfast buffet and a daily cocktail hour!
Now, let's talk about
how to book. If you still want to stay at an off-site hotel, you'll need to book your accommodations separately and then purchase your Disney World theme park tickets
here. If you choose a Disney World vacation package, begin by
choosing your dates and selecting your hotel HERE. Be sure to click on the "Package" tab before choosing your room type and proceeding to the next screen. Then, choose the number of theme park tickets you want, and select the
Park Hopper Option. Continue through the booking process as prompted, and you'll be on your way in no time!
I hope this information is helpful, Tammie, and that your upcoming visit is nothing short of magical! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!
See ya real soon,
Allison
