Hi there, I’m trying to figure out whether it’s better to rent a stroller from an outside company or pick it up each day at the park. Is it difficult to take a double stroller onto the monorails and ferries? They don’t fold down very well...

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Robin! I have good experience with both single and double strollers at Walt Disney World Resort! I hope that my insight can help you with a decision!

When faced with sleepy kids and strolling back to our hotel, a double stroller has proved invaluable. Our family likes to rent from the Disney-authorized Kingdom Strollers, because the stroller comes set-up with rain cover and cooler straight to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel bellhop stand. We choose the City Mini double strollers that fold fairly flat and have no problem at all with them on boats, buses or even wheeled right onto the monorail with ease. In my personal opinion, the park strollers are less convenient because you don’t have access to them at your resort, for the long walk to transportation and they don’t recline, which has been a must for my very little kids.

If I can help you navigate the parks and assist in planning your kid-friendly vacation, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
