Ahoy Meagan and thank you for visiting us at planDisney as you prepare for your upcoming honeymoon. First of all, congratulations! I think that a Disney Cruise is the perfect way to celebrate the start of your marriage and I'm sending you the best
WISHes for a lifetime full of happiness together.
There are so many aspects of your Disney Cruise that are
included in your cruise fare, but there are a few options available to book that will add a little bit of extra magic. Let's review some of these extras that you mentioned so that you can plan ahead.
For starters, booking
Port Adventures (like snorkeling) is a great way to plan your activities for the time you spend off the ship. You can look at your itinerary online and see which Port Adventures are typically offered for the ports you will be visiting. If you are a first-time Guest of Disney Cruise Line, your
onboard booking window opens 75 days prior to your cruise. Once your onboard booking window officially opens, you will be able to log in to your online reservation and view the prices and availability for Port Adventures on your itinerary and book what you'd like to experience.
Snorkel Lagoon Equipment Rentals on
Castaway Cay were $34 per adult the last time I visited the island. Please remember that prices are subject to change at any time, but I hope that at least gives you an idea as you plan.
Massages are also available to book in advance once your onboard booking window opens. A couple's massage sounds like the perfect way to relax and unwind after the excitement of your wedding day. You can take a peek at a sample of
some of the offerings onboard. I have a 50-minute Swedish Massage for Couples booked for an upcoming cruise and the cost at the time I booked was $279. Gratuities are charged for spa services and will be an additional 18 percent. Please use this price as a guideline as services and prices are subject to change.
As far as enjoying alcohol onboard, there are some options available to order alcohol in advance of your sailing via
Onboard Gifts. If you'd rather order drinks a la carte, you may order what you wish at the various lounges, bars, and nightclubs onboard. Currently, drinks typically range in price from $7-$15. You also have the option to bring a
limited amount of alcohol on board with you in your carry-on luggage only. Guests 21 and over are permitted to bring two bottles of unopened wine or champagne (750 ml or less) or six beers (12 ounces or less) on the ship.
Lastly, I'd love to share my favorite recommendation for honeymooners. The
Luxury at Sea for Two Romance Package includes a bottle of bubbly, chocolates, a rose, and two plush Disney Cruise Line branded robes that make a wonderful and memorable souvenir.
Meagan, I hope that this information helps as you plan a picture-perfect honeymoon. Please visit us again if you have any further questions! It's a pleasure to help.
Enjoy your adventure,
Adrianna
