Sam from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Im trying to figure out if the Dining Plan will be worth it for me. If I use the dining plan for a fantasmic or eat to the beat reservation, does it still include an alcoholic drink (21+) or is it different for the event reservations?

Hey there, Sam! Welcome back to planDisney!

We’re big fans of the Disney Dining Plan at my house. Figuring out how we’re going to use all our dining credits has become a part of our planning process (spreadsheets might be involved), and everyone gets to choose a dining location. It can be a great value if restaurants and dining are part of the Disney magic for you.

I’m happy to report that guests 21 and older with valid identification may enjoy beer, wine, and cocktails as part of their Fantasmic or Eat to the Beat Dining Package reservation. This is the case whether you decide to use the Disney Dining Plan or pay out of pocket.

There are a lot of great participating dining locations in both dining packages. At Hollywood Studios, you can enjoy 50’s Prime Time Diner, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, and Hollywood & Vine for 1 table-service credit. The Hollywood Brown Derby is also an option, but it requires 2 table-service credits if you are using the dining plan.

For Eat to the Beat at EPCOT, there are too many participating restaurants to list here, but my favorites are Biergarten, Rose & Crown Dining Room, and La Hacienda de San Angel. If you’re looking for something extra special and elegant, then you might consider Le Cellier Steakhouse, which is 2 table-service dining plan credits.

Sam, I hope this information helps with your dining plan decision. Pop right back if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
