Welcome to planDisney, Melissa! How exciting to be planning a
Very Merrytime sailing aboard the Disney Wish! It's going to be magical, especially with your three little ones.
Yes, you can expect that the second night of your sailing will be
Pirate Night. You'll enjoy a lot of entertainment offerings packed into your three-night sailing. It's fun to dress up as pirates, so if your sailing crew likes to get into the swing of things, pack some costumes for the fun.
I encourage you to stop by
Disney's Oceaneer Club on the first afternoon you are onboard. Your children can see the space that is designated for kids ages three to ten. The whole family can play and enjoy these spaces during Open House times, which will be listed in the Daily Activity Schedule within the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The Daily Activity Schedule will list all of the happenings around the ship. I encourage you to look through it to see what your kids will enjoy. You can click the heart icon next to any activities you don't want to miss, and the app can send notifications (if enabled) to remind you about 15 minutes before they begin.
Olaf's Royal Picnic will be such a special treat! You might also consider booking makeovers at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for the opportunity for your children to be transformed into princesses, knights, or sea captains. If your travel crew would like to meet with several princesses at one time, you may wish to book complimentary tickets to the Royal Gathering onboard.
Tickets can be reserved online or within the Navigator app 30 days before your sailing.
The Disney Wish features
Disney Uncharted Adventure, a game to enjoy as a family on the ship. This interactive game can be accessed within the app and requires a mobile device to play. You can take turns using phones within the group if you have more players than mobile devices.
When visiting
Disney Castaway Cay, take note that there is a kids' club on the island. My kids loved the chance to dig in the sand and enjoy water play with the counselors there. You'll also find a splash pad for younger cruisers not far from the family beach. If you are interested in riding bicycles on the island, some bikes have child seats and training wheels to accommodate kids of all ages.
Melissa, there will be so much to see, do, and explore during your vacation aboard the
Disney Wish! If you have more questions, please cruise back to us and ask. My pals and I will be here to help.
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
