I'm trying to make dining reservations for my upcoming trip but almost every restaurant in the park we have reservations for is full. Are we able to leave the park and eat at Downtown Disney and then reenter the park we have reservations that day for?

    Hey Ashton!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited for your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! It sounds like you’re putting the finishing touches on your trip to the Disneyland Resort. I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble finding a reservation for one of your dining choices inside the theme parks. Reservations have been popular but I encourage you to keep checking as guests are continuously changing and modifying their plans which could free up some reservations that you have been searching for.

If you're still wanting to dine at the Downtown Disney District you are more than welcome to do so. You can enter and exit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park throughout the day as frequently as you’d like as long as the park is not at capacity. This usually only ever happens around Christmas and New Year’s. If you’re looking for some recommendations for dining where you can sit down, relax and enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend Ballast Point Brewing Co and Naples Ristorante e Bar. If you want something quick and delicious I recommend Napolini Pizzeria or the quick service side of Tortilla Jo’s.

Well Ashton, I hope you have a wonderful trip and please come back and let us know if you need anything else.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
