    I’m trying to make a dining reservation at the blue bayou for 3 week in October. It’s not letting me. Is it really booked?

    Welcome to planDisney, Leigh! 

    Blue Bayou Restaurant is a crowd-favorite at The Happiest Place on Earth! Who doesn’t want to dine with a view of Pirates of the Caribbean surrounded by water and perpetual nighttime?! 

    I did log on to my Disneyland Resort account to try to see if there was any availability for the dates you are looking at, and I was not able to view any available meal times! With limited capacity, and high demand, this restaurant is a tricky one to get reservations for! But don’t worry yet, I have a few tips for you, matey! 

    First - Keep trying to make a reservation for your trip, as Guests are always making changes to their reservations, and you never know when a dining time slot will open up! 

    Second - If you really are unable to get a dining reservation, check at the restaurant’s front desk right when it opens to see if there are any walk-up reservations available for the day. (You could also try this at Guest Relations as well!) 

    There’s no guarantee that either of these avenues will work, but it is definitely worth a try! If you have additional questions before your trip, we’d be honored to hear from you again at planDisney, Leigh!
