Hiya, Jaran! Thanks for making a return trip to planDisney--we're so excited to have you be our guest as you plan the perfect
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Consider me your trusty sidekick, like Maximus to your Flynn Rider, ready to help make your adventures extra magical!
I see that you have a princess of your own and are hoping to arrange a royal rendezvous with Cinderella during your upcoming trip. Cinderella is one of my favorites, too! I personally haven't encountered her showing off her best dance moves after the
Happily Ever After fireworks show, but I did some research to get some more details.
A friend who counts many Disney Princess pals among her nearest and dearest shared that Cinderella occasionally mingles with Guests post-fireworks at
Magic Kingdom Park, but this is not a scheduled experience that you can plan for. I would recommend lingering in "The Hub"--the area in front of Cinderella Castle--to see if she emerges to show off her glass slippers, but perhaps not telling your daughter so she isn't disappointed if it doesn't happen.
To ensure some face time with Cinderella and other princesses during your day in the Magic Kingdom, let me share some of my girls' favorite experiences!
- A meal at Cinderella's Royal Table takes you inside the castle for a truly memorable experience. The first time I brought my daughters to Walt Disney World, we started our first day with breakfast in the castle, and it is one of my favorite Disney memories. You'll meet Cinderella in the grand hall before proceeding upstairs, where several princesses will visit your table as you dine for autographs and photos. And of course, the views are spectacular! Advance reservations are a must, but if you can't find a slot, don't despair--Guests' plans change regularly, so keep checking back as your desired date approaches.
- You can also visit Cinderella just steps from the castle at Princess Fairytale Hall, where Cinderella, Tiana, and some visiting princesses greet Guests in regal surroundings. This is a great spot for photos, with PhotoPass photographers at the ready to snap the perfect pose!
- Your daughter can channel her inner Cinderella with a royal makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, which is a super-cool experience. A Fairy Godmother in Training works with each princess or prince and the results are precious. This is another experience that you'll want a reservation for. The selection of dresses available is subject to change, so if your daughter has her heart set on dressing as a specific princess, I suggest checking out Disney Store for the perfect gown and bringing it with you.
Jaran, I love that you are thinking of all the ways you can make your daughter's trip unforgettable--I just know that your family will make so many special memories on your Walt Disney World vacation. It will be here before you know it! I hope this information helps, and please don't hesitate to visit planDisney again if we can answer any other questions.
Have Courage and Be Kind!
