I’m trying to decide which resort has better access to all four parks. Beach Club or port orleans

    Hi Sandy!

You've asked a great question about two fantastic Disney Resort hotels! Whether you're interested in Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter, you'll find that either of these or Disney's Beach Club Resort are all awesome options for your trip and each would make a fantastic vacation "home!"

In my opinion, Disney's Beach Club Resort has better access to the theme parks than Disney's Port Orleans Resort. You'll need to take a bus from any of these resorts to Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom. If you're staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort, you'll actually need to take a bus to all four theme parks, but Disney's Beach Club Resort will give you much easier access to EPOCT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Since it's located along Disney's BoardWalk, Disney's Beach Club Resort is an easy trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT using the Disney Skyliner or water transportation. You can even walk from the hotel to these theme parks. I've stayed at Disney's Beach Club Resort and the other hotels on Disney's BoardWalk many times and we have found that this quick and easy access saves us quite a bit of time when traveling to and from these theme parks!

Another awesome perk of staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort is that it has my favorite pool at Walt Disney World Resort! Stormalong Bay is an incredible water park located right along Disney's BoardWalk. With an amazing waterslide, zero-entry pool, and a lazy river, it's an unforgettable experience. You'll definitely want to plan a full day in your vacation itinerary enjoying Stormalong Bay during your stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort!

Come back to see us if we can help you again as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
