Hello, Hillary and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we thank you for your continued loyalty in consulting us!
Dining with children at
Walt Disney World Resort has to be the best place to acclimate them to dining in public. The Cast Members understand how little Guests may squirm and the pacing of meals is adjusted accordingly. You’ll be surrounded by families just like yours who may not be able to languish over a meal. Why, that’s where we exposed and taught my Autistic son about dining in public. My personal experience was that if we really had to get going, our server was happy to pack up our meals for us to enjoy where we felt most at ease. I don’t recall being able to order take-away at
Table-Service venues, but you can always ask, or even order Room Service if you wish. Feel free to bring along any small toys, games, or even tablets and headphones for watching movies to help extend your dining experience. Anything necessary to help keep our children content and happy.
May I offer
Disney’s Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones in preparation for your vacation? You’ll find suggestions for attractions, sample Theme Park itineraries, ideas for activities and much more, all designed for families just like yours!
Rest assured, Hillary, just mention to your server that you need the pacing of your meal a bit quicker and they’ll do what they can; everyone understands children at Disney.
Best Wishes for a Most Magical Vacation!
