I'm trying to decide on the dining plan. We have a two rooms, 1 room with my family and 1 room with my parents. We want the dining package and they do not. Can one room get it? Can we share our credits with my parents, is there a limit? Thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy!

Disney dining plans are a great way to enjoy some of the fantastic restaurants and dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. You can choose to add a dining plan to your trip by room reservation. So for your trip, your family could choose to the enjoy a dining plan for your room reservation only. This would give you meal entitlements based on the dining plan you choose for each person listed on your family's room reservation. For example, if you choose to add the Disney Dining Plan to your reservation and you have two adults and two kids on your reservation, you would receive two adult quick service entitlements, table service entitlements and snack entitlements, as well as two kids quick service, table service and snack entitlements for each night of your reservation.

One of the best parts about being on the dining plans is the flexibility it will allow you in using your meal entitlements. When you are dining at a quick service or snack location, just inform the Cast Member of the number of entitlements you will be using for your order. If you are dining at a table service restaurant, let the server know that you will be using the dining plan at the beginning of your meal. Then once you are ready for the check, you can let them know of the number of entitlements you will be using for your check. You could choose to use your adult meal entitlements for your parents if they are dining with you, provided that you have sufficient adult meals left on your reservation. Your remaining entitlements will be printed on the receipts when you use your dining plan so you can easily keep track of what you have left.
