Hi Tammy,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I’m so happy to hear that Disability Access Service was helpful for your previous visits to Walt Disney World Resort.
Tammy, it has not yet been confirmed if Disability Access Service (DAS) will be available during
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. There are a few things you can do as you prepare for your visit using DAS. You can reach out to Disability Services to inquire about Disability Access Service during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party by emailing disability.services@disneyparks.com or by calling the number listed under “
Disability Services.”
I also recommend
registering for Disability Access prior to your arrival through Live Video Chat with a Cast Member. This can be completed between two and 30 days prior to your visit, and the Guest who is requesting DAS must be present, along with a parent or guardian if they are under the age of 18. If you are approved for Disability Access Service in advance, you will be able to select up to two return times for select experiences through DAS Advance Planning. If you’d like, you can wait until your arrival to register for DAS at a
Guest Relations location within any of the four theme parks.
I hope this helps, Tammy. As you count down to your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for updates on what is coming to the theme parks! If you do attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, I suggest watching for Disney Eats to publish a Foodie Guide to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This guide will have a full list of tasty eats available during the Christmas party and where they can be found. I keep the
Foodie Guides handy on my phone whenever I visit Walt Disney World Resort!
If you have any questions as you continue to plan your visit, please come back and see us at planDisney!
