I'm trying to decide on a 2 bedroom Villa. We are a group of myself, DH, DS3, DD2, & my parents. Old Key West Villas look beautiful, but Bay Lake Towers are close to Magic Kingdom. Can you walk to Epcot from Old Key West Villas? Help!

    Hi Christina!

While it might look close on a map, Old Key West is not within walking distance of Epcot.   Old Key West is a very nice resort with some of the largest villas on property.  However, in your case I recommend staying at Bay Lake Towers.

With young children, you will probably spend a lot of time at the Magic Kingdom.  Bay Lake Towers is within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom; you can also take the monorail to the Contemporary and then walk across the bridge to the Towers.  Being close by will allow you to easily take a break, such as taking a nap, going for a swim, etc.

You will also have easy access to Epcot by taking a monorail from the Contemporary to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then switching to an Epcot monorail.

Bay Lake Towers is a beautiful resort with fantastic rooms.  I recommend getting a Magic Kingdom view if it is within your budget.  Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
