Hello there, Laura!
Like Star Wars C-3PO, I love helping Walt Disney World Resort Guests with the
My Disney Experience app and technology. It sounds like you’ve already accomplished the majority of the bare necessities like linking your party together and making sure your hotel reservation appears in your My Disney Experience account. Before I help you set up
the Disney MagicMobile service, did you know that everyone in your party will need a theme park ticket,
theme park reservation, and a mode of entry (e.g.,
Disney band, Disney MagicMobile service, or a ticket from a ticket window) for each day you plan on visiting the theme parks?
Now, let me try to help you set up the Disney MagicMobile service. First, I recommend opening up the My Disney Experience mobile app on your device and closing the app by pressing down on the app and swiping up. Sometimes a simple refresh is all my mobile device needs to get everything working properly.
Next, reopen the app and confirm that you have a linked park admission or a Resort reservation by selecting the three horizontal bars in the bottom right corner of the screen and checking to see that your “Tickets and Passes” and your “Resort Hotel” appear on those pages. Once you’ve confirmed that your tickets and Resort hotel are linked, select the three horizontal bars in the right corner of the screen, followed by “Disney MagicMobile.” Once this screen opens up, press the plus sign in the top right corner of the screen to add a pass or follow the directions on the screen. If this doesn’t work for you, I recommend calling a Cast Member via one of the phone numbers on this
U.K. contact list. I hope I was able to solve your issue by sprinkling a bit of pixie dust in your direction.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
